Mr. Marriett Edward Crump, Jr., age 63, of Barnesville passed away Friday, March 27, 2009 in a Macon Healthcare Facility. A native of Rome, GA, Mr. Crump had lived in Barnesville for most of his life. Son of the late Mr. Marriett Edward Crump, Sr. and Mrs. Helen Crump Freeman, he was a Vietnam Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Crump was a Truck Driver with Pro-Bild in Macon, and was a member of Fellowship Restoration Church.

Survivors include: His wife - Mrs. Shirley Crump of Barnesville ; 1 Daughter - Penny, and her son ; 1 Step-son - Jimmy Truluck (and his wife Christy) of Barnesville, and their three sons - Joseph, Joshua, & Jeremiah ; His Mother - Helen Freeman of Jones County ; 1 Brother - George Delmas Crump of Macon ; 1 Sister - Gloria of Macon ; Father-in-law & Mother-in-law - Charlie & Betty Powell of Barnesville.

Funeral Services for Mr. Marriett Edward Crump, Jr. will be conducted Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 3 O'Clock in the Fellowship Restoration Church with Pastor Michael English and Pastor Jonathan English officiating. Mr. Crump will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in the Fellowship Restoration Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Monday evening (3-30-09) from 6pm until 8pm.
