Mrs. Martha Williams Davis, age 91, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 in a Griffin Healthcare Facility. A native of Pike County, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Wallace Gregg Williams and the late Mrs. Pearl Steger Williams, and was also preceded in death by her husbands, Mr. Clarence Maddox and Mr. Euel Davis, by a Step-son, Mr. Eugene Maddox, and by two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Cochran and Mrs. Helen English. Mrs. Davis retired from the Distribution Center for The William Carter Company, and was a member of New Life Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Her Step-Daughter - Mrs. Carolyn Smith, and her children, Mike Smith, Scott Smith, Nathan Smith, and Carol Ann Cooper, all of Valdosta ; 1 Sister - Mrs. Betty Schuder of Gainesville ; and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Martha Davis will be conducted Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 2 O'Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Charles Killingsworth officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 1:00pm until the service hour.
