Mrs. Martha Jane "Marty" Kyle, age 76, of McDonough Road, Jackson, Georgia, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mrs. Kyle was born on Wednesday, April 13, 1938 in Sharpsburg, Georgia to the late Robert Lee Reid and the late Marguerite Janie Sikes Reid. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Reid. Marty loved to read and play Bridge. She enjoyed going to yard sales and gardening and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Kyle is survived by her daughter, Shari Kyle and her partner, Liz Abadie of Atlanta; son, Scott Kyle of Jackson; grandchildren, Austin Kyle and Maci Kyle both of Jackson; sister, Joyce Sanders of Helen; niece, Jan Pierce of Snellville; nephew, Dan Sanders of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee; her special canine companion, Molly.

A memorial graveside service for Mrs. Martha Jane "Marty" Kyle will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the Milner Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Benny Tate will officiate.
