Mrs. Martha Lynn Moore, age 81, of Jackson, GA, died Monday, March 28, 2011 at her residence. She was born March 17, 1930 in Dalton, GA to the late William T. and Nannie Sue (Nolan) Ellis. She served in the U.S. Army. Mrs. Moore is survived by sons Patrick T. Moore, of Jackson, GA, and Michael K. Moore, of Atlanta; daughters Felicia Henson, of Dalton, Deborah Richards, of Ponce DeLeon, FL; brother, Bobby Ellis, of Dalton; sister, Betty Hilley, of Dalton; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Arvil Ellis, Lloyd Ellis, Trammell Ellis; and sister, Jean Beason. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Peeples Funeral Home in Dalton, GA. Sherrell Funeral Home in Jackson and Peeples Funeral Home in Dalton are in charge of arrangements.
