Mr. Martin Daniel "Danny" Jenkins, age 75, of Flovilla, Georgia, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026.

Danny was born on Friday, March 24, 1950, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Lloyd Harold Jenkins and the late Dorothy Irene Maples Jenkins. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Jackie Fendley Jenkins; and son, Martin Jarrod Jenkins. Danny retired from the city of Atlanta and was a volunteer fire chief for the Worthville Fire Department. He was an avid fan of NASCAR, the Atlanta Braves, and the University of Georgia Bulldogs. Watching westerns and visiting Cherokee, North Carolina was some of the things Danny enjoyed doing.

Danny is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Cathy Jenkins; children, Angela Range, Jennifer Barnhill, Fred Ledford, John Ledford; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Green; brother, Buster Jenkins; several nieces and nephews; canine companion, Roscoe.

A funeral service for Mr. Martin Jenkins will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow at Worthville Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
