Mrs. Mary Jean Miles Gilbert, age 74, of Barnesville passed away on Monday, April 09, 2012 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Gilbert was the daughter of the late Mr. Harlan Leroy Miles and the late Mrs. Bessie Reynolds Miles. She was a Home Maker and a member of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Gilbert was preceded in death by her Brother, James Harlan Miles, and by her youngest Daughter, Laura Jean Smith Pritchett.

Survivors include her Husband John "Papa John" Gilbert ; 4 Sons – Mark Smith of Thomaston ; Troy Smith of Griffin ; Foy Gilbert (& Stacy) of Barnesville ; Joel Gilbert (& Tina) of Columbus ; 2 Daughters – Amy Street (& Billy) of Barnesville ; Cheri Colbert (& Truby) of Barnesville ; 16 Grandchildren ; 7 Great Grandchildren.

The Family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Thursday evening, April 12, 2012 from 6 pm until 8 pm.
