Mrs. Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Walters Jones, age 67, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021.

Beth was born on Monday, April 19, 1954 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Thomas Herbert Walters and the late Mary Ann Hipp Walters. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Alan Jones; brother, James Walters; and her beloved in-laws, Mary Helen Jones and Ray Jones. Beth recently worked as a salesperson with Terrell's Pools and Spas and was a former restaurateur who also worked with Delta Airlines.

Beth was an avid adventurer that loved to challenge herself. From flying to Paris to meet friends to horseback riding, kayaking, skiing, and swimming, Beth let her spirit guide her. She never met a stranger anywhere she went, and her hearty laugh and infectious smile welcomed everyone that crossed her path. Beth's family was her treasure, and that family included several close high school friends that she maintained relationships with through the ups and downs of fifty years.

Beth is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Nicole Jones; grandchildren, Karah Grace Anderson, Taylor Michelle Jones; sisters, Sally Miller and Rebecca Walters; brother, Frederick Walters; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mrs. Beth Jones will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough, Georgia. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
