Mrs. Mary Torbert Latham, 71, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Atrium Health Medical Center in Macon.

Mary was born on Tuesday, September 27, 1949 in Barnesville, Georgia to the late James Mitchell Torbert, and Claudia Johnson. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Harold Latham; sister, Patsy Dunn; and nephew, Jeff Taylor. She was a long-time member of the Barnesville Church of the Nazarene, where she dearly loved her church family. Mary enjoyed playing piano and going to good 'ole Gospel singings nearby. She loved her Lord and loved tending to her yard.

Mary is survived by her niece, Penny Page; nephews, Danny Long (Sunday), and Jimmy Long; cousins, Bobby Torbert, Lucille McCarty, Robert Torbert, Peggy Torbert Adams, Martha Wise, and Judy Herrin; great-nephews, Tiler Page (Jamie), Joshua Long (Stephanie), and Alan Long (Annalysa); as well as a host of extended family.

A funeral service for Mrs. Mary Torbert Latham will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at the Barnesville Church of the Nazarene with Pastors Jett Davis and Patrick Latham officiating. Interment will follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will greet friends and loved ones one hour prior to the service at the church.
