Mary Sue Turner McDaniel passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022 in a Heritage Inn Assisted Living of Barnesville.

A native of Barnesville, she was born August 12,1936, daughter of the late Arthur Raymond Turner and Willie Mae Cook McCollough Turner. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church since the age of 15, serving as pianist, organist, adult Sunday School teacher and custodian. Mrs. McDaniel was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Reese McDaniel; son Billy Glenn McDaniel; brother Herbert Dewey McCollough; sister Margaret Maxine Turner Elliott, and sister in law Betty Jean Adams.

Mrs. McDaniel is survived by a niece Janice McLeod (Roger), 2 nephews Herbert Michael McCollough (Lynn) of Barnesville and Harold Elliott (Pat) of Houston, Texas; sister in law Marjorie Andrews of Barnesville, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside funeral and interment services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Friday, June 10, 2022 at the Fincher Cemetery, Meansville, Georgia, with Reverend Allen Newman officiating.
