Ms. Melinda Frances Lieb Patton, age 46, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016.

Melinda was born on Tuesday, November 18, 1969 in Atlanta, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her father, Francis Douglas "Ducky" Lieb, and a sister-in-law, Sabra Lieb. Melinda was a longtime employee of AT&T. Melinda loved gardening, loved flowers, and loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith.

Melinda is survived by her daughters, Brittany Nicole Patton and Amber Lynn Butler; grandchildren, Kayden Jacob Feltman, Jaylee Emerson Abercrombrie, and Michael Patton; mother, Nancy Lieb; brother and sister-in-law, James D. and Cathy Lieb; special friend, Troy Butler; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Melinda Lieb Patton will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow in County Line Baptist Church Cemetery in Jenkinsburg, GA. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
