Michelle Leigh Pruitt, age 36, of Jackson, GA, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Sylvan Grove Hospital. She was born on Friday, March 30, 1979 in Griffin, GA to the late William Ronald Carter and the late Susan Michelle Hardy Carter.

Michelle is survived by her daughters, Hailey Michelle Johnson and Ciara Nicole Pruitt; sisters, Vikki Carter and Kristy Smith; brother, Justin Carter; grandmother, Betty Jean Hardy; cousin, Andi Hardy.

Funeral services for Michelle Pruitt will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2015 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy L. Mangham officiating. Interment will be at Stark United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
