Michael "Mike" Dale Haney, Sr., age 58, of Jackson, GA, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Sylvan Grove Hospital. He was born on Wednesday, January 4, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio to the late George Gale Haney and the late Ann Marie Pruitt Haney Decker. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Jerri Ann Haney and Terri Gayle Houston.

Mike is survived by his wife of 40 years, Ms. Debbie; son and daughter-in-law, Michael Dale Haney, Jr. and Tasha; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Mitchell and Hank; grandchildren, Zachery Seth Stearns, Thomas Drake Stearns, Anna Reece Haney; great-grandson, Zachery Kaiden Stearns; brother, Patrick George Haney.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2015.
