Mrs. Mildred Marie Willis Arnold, age 82, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2009 in a Spalding County healthcare facility. Mrs. Arnold was the wife of the late Mr. James Emmett Arnold, and the daughter of the late Mr. Obbie Eugene Willis and the late Mrs. Trudie Jewell Willis. Mrs. Arnold retired as a Seamstress form the William Carter Company and was also a proud member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include: 2 Daughters – Judy Christopher (& her husband Bill) of Milner, and Lynn Pate (& her husband Bruce) of St. Louis, Missouri ; 1 Sister – Opal Milner of Barnesville ; Grandson – Ryan Christopher (& his wife Amy) of Lamar County ; Several great grandchildren and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Arnold will be conducted on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 3 O' Clock in Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon, January 2, 2010 from 4pm until 6pm.
