Mrs. Mildred McKneely Ball, age 100, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022, at Eternal Hope Hospice in Griffin.

Mildred was born on Wednesday, March 15, 1922, in Milner, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Florine McKneely. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Clarence M. Ball; eight brothers and sisters, and son-in-law Norman Smith. Mrs. Ball was a homemaker and an excellent cook. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved flower gardening and working in her yard. She was a member of High Shoals Primitive Baptist Church where she served as the clerk and treasurer for many years and helped organize several country church cemeteries.

Mildred is survived by her children and their spouses; Janice & George Moore, Audrey Smith, Clarence W. "Sonny" Ball, Everard Ball; grandchildren, George "Rip" Moore, Jr., Carlyle & Yarrow Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne & Betty McKneely; other sister-in-law, Margaret McKneely; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred McKneely Ball will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 3:00 P.M. in Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Elder Tim Mullins, Pastor Cyndi McDonald, and Brother Ed York officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in High Shoals Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
