Mildred Wilson Brantly, age 92, of Milner passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at her residence. Born in Zebulon to the late Mr. Newton Henry Wilson, Sr. and the late Mrs. Alpha Lee Taylor Wilson, she was also preceded in death by her husband, the late Mr. Howard Walter Brantly, Jr.. Mrs. Brantly had been an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Brightmoor Nursing Center. She was a member of The Order of The Eastern Star, a member of the Joy Club, and was a member of the PTA for 28 consecutive years. Mrs. Brantly was also a member of the Milner United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: 2 Daughters – Brenda Brantly & Judi Pambuena ; 4 Sons – Howard Walter Brantly, III (& Renata) ; Bobby Brantly (& Donna) ; Wayne Brantly (& Vicki) ; & Ricky Brantly (& Linda) ; 9 Grandchildren ; 17 Great Grandchildren ; 2 Great Great Grandchildren ; 1 Brother-in-law – Bruce Brantly ; & 1 Sister-in-law – Audrey Webb.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mildred Wilson Brantly will be conducted Friday, September 19, 2014 at 2 O'Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Franklin Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in the Milner Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Friday, September 19, 2014 from 1 O'Clock until the service hour.
