Mrs. Millie Langford Smith, age 97, of Barnesville, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at a Lamar County Healthcare Facility. Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her Husband, Mr. Julian Franklin Smith, Her Father, Mr. Milton Samuel Smith and her Mother Mrs. Ola Smith. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a lifetime member of Prospect United Methodist Church. After its closure she became a member of Milner United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: 1 Son – Franklin Smith (& Teresa) of Barnesville Ga.; 1 Daughter – Patsy McBroom (& Bernie) of Barnesville Ga..; 5 Grandchildren; 9 Step Grandchildren; Numerous Great Grand Children and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Millie Langford Smith will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 2 O'clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Claude Herbert officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 1p.m. until the service hour.
