Mrs. Mona Margaret Ingram Bentley, of Jackson, GA, died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at her residence. She was born on April 26, 1954 in Atlanta, GA to Robert B. and Lorine Townsend Ingram. She enjoyed "Orangutan Island", cook books, Paula Deen, cooking, snuggling with her bed buddy, Penny, her grandson Boo putting on concerts for her, and loved spending time with her family. Mona is survived by her husband, James Bentley; daughter, DeeDee Starling, both of Jackson; 1 grandson, James (Boo) Starling; mother, Lorine Ingram, of Jasper; sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Charles Grant, of Jasper; mother-in-law, Becky Bentley, of Ellijay; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and her dog, Penny. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Ingram. Memorial services for Mona Bentley will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 26th at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating.
