Mrs. Nancy Ruth Turner Bush, age, 79 of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026at Hope Memory Care in Fayetteville Georgia.

Nancy was born on Sunday, July 7, 1946, in Chamblee, Georgia to the late Edward Turner and the late Ruby Rowland Turner. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Judy and Helen; brother, Jimmy.

Nancy was employed at USDA- Forest Service in Atlanta, Georgia for 36 years before she and Mickey retired and moved to Barnesville, Georgia. She traveled to all National Parks conducting training seminars. Nancy loved the beach and made many trips with her sister Judy and her friends. She enjoyed doing needle work and making jewelry. She was a member of Fredonia Congregational Methodist Church, Barnesville, Georgia.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 54 years, Isaac Milton Bush (Mickey); sister, Laverne Bishop; sister-in-law, Lavaughn Turner, several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Flowers will be accepted, or making a one-time donation in Memory of Nancy Bush, to the Alzheimer’s Association.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Nancy Ruth Turner Bush will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Fredonia Church, 1024 Fredonia Church Road, Barnesville, Georgia, with Reverend Ken Peeples officiating. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 1:00P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Church.
