Neville LeRoy Edgar, age 68, of Griffin, GA, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012. He was born September 29, 1943 in Mercedes, TX to the late Carlos and Mary Bonneau Edgar. He attended Rock Springs Church, was an avid flintknapper, enjoyed, hunting, reading, outdoors, westerns, eating, and loved spending time with his family. Neville is survived by his wife, Wanda Edgar, of Griffin; 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Lee Edgar, of Richmond, VA, Scott and Toni Edgar, of Griffin; 4 grandchildren, Allen, Ashley, Molly, and Andi Edgar; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Matthew Edgar. Funeral services for Neville Edgar will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. Benny Tate, Rev. John Sherrell and William Edgar officiating. Neville had requested that all males attending wear jeans and shirt and ladies dress casually. Interment will be at Rock Springs Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Friday evening. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Remnant Ministry, Rock Springs Church, 219 Rock Springs Road, Milner, GA 30257.
