Mrs. Nora Wartberg Blacklidge, age 80, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014.

Mrs. Blacklidge was born on Tuesday, September 18, 1934 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Julius Wartberg and the late Jennie Buras Wartberg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Berry Blacklidge. Nora enjoyed cooking and she was of the Catholic faith. She was formerly a school teacher in Louisiana.

Mrs. Blacklidge is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Joey and Lori Blacklidge, John and Mary Grace Blacklidge; grandchildren, Nicolas Blacklidge, Lindsay Blacklidge, J.J. Blacklidge, Zachary Blacklidge, and Mason Blacklidge.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Blacklidge will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow in Flovilla South Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
