Mr. Oliver "David" or "O.D." Wilson, age 71, of Barnesville passed away on May 23, 2010 at a Henry County Healthcare Facility. He was a native of Shelby, Alabama but had made his home here in Lamar County for a number of years. Son of the late Mr. James Milton Wilson and the late Mrs. Elsie Lullabelle Covington Wilson, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Mr. Donald Wilson. Mr. Wilson Retired as an OTR Truck Driver for Consolidated Freightways.

Survivors include - His Wife - Pauline Wilson of Barnesville ; Daughter- Terrie Ann Hardin (& Frank) of Villa Rica ; Granddaughter- Emily Hardin of Villa Rica ; 2 Step Daughters- Delores Smith of Bloomingdale, GA ; & Linda Hand of Dalton ; 4 Step-Grandchildren - Cynthia Mauldin (& Johnny) of Eden ; Jennifer Hand of Dalton ; Katrina Smith of Bloomingdale ; & Eric Hand (& Mary) of Rocky Face ; 5 Step-Great Grandchildren ; & 2 Step-Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Oliver "David" or "O.D." Wilson will be conducted Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 1 O'Clock in The Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with The Reverend Brad Banks officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Wednesday evening (5-26-10) from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
