Mrs. Peggy Diane Strickland Sexton, age 76, of Locust Grove, GA, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at her home.  She was born on Wednesday, November 25, 1942 in Thomaston, GA to the late Leonard Douglas Strickland and the late Juanita Mead Hand.  Peggy and her husband owned Little Mountain Child Care.  She was a member of Glenhaven Baptist Church in McDonough.  Peggy loved children, teaching, and sewing.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Lavon Sexton; children, Mark and Shannon Sexton, Jon and JoAnna Sexton, Phil and Tracy Sexton, Wendy Branegan, Bonnie and Jeff Bergman; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Tony Strickland; sisters and brother-in-law, Susan Rapsis, Jan and Buck Pointer; several nieces and nephews.

Services for Mrs. Peggy Sexton will be held at 3:00 P.M. at Glen Haven Baptist Church in McDonough on July 14, 2019.
