Mr. Plez Dukes, Jr, age 72, of Milner, GA passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Regency-Coliseum Hospital.

Plez was born on Friday, March 9, 1945 to the late Plez Dukes, Sr. and the late June Emmie O'Pry Dukes. He was a supervisor for the Department of Corrections for the State of Georgia and a member of Rock Springs Church. Plez was an avid outdoorsmen, loved tournament fishing and deer hunting, was a UGA fan, and enjoyed golfing.

Plez is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, DiAnne C. Dukes; children, Stephanie Dukes Fritch, Stephen Dukes, Gina Butler Tardy (Terry), and Russell Butler (Shannon); grandchildren, Dawn Burke, Dakota Tardy, Courtney Allison, Jenni-Lynne Smith, Amber Butler, Taylor Butler, Dustin Tardy, Brandon Dukes, Ramsey Butler, Cameron Hodges, and Anthony Fritch; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Horne (Sidney) and Susan Dalianas (Gary); brother, Bill Dukes (Debbie); several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mr. Plez Dukes will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit at Williams-Westbury Funeral Home on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
