Mr. Robert Lee Jackson "Jack" Walker, age 92, of Stockbridge, GA, formerly of Jackson, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017. He was born on Monday, September 15, 1924 in Pell City, Alabama to the late Leilus Walker and the late Ruby Goodwin Walker. Jack proudly served in the United States Navy from 1943 until 1946. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Locust Grove. Jack was a salesman for Saladmaster Corporation for 42 years. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Walker; son-in-law, Fred Miller; and daughter-in-law, Charlene Bagwell.

Jack is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary Sanford Walker; children,Wilma Miller, Mike Walker (Lori), John Walker (Martha), Cindy Zabala (Dennis), Doug Walker (Lesa); grandchildren, Benton Belk (Paige), Beth Miller, Glenn Walker (Katie); Kellie Stewart (Jon), Julie Hughes (Mike), John Michael Walker (Brooke), Justin Walker, Monica Roberson (Adam), Michael Zabala (Taylor), Christina Zabala, Matt Walker (Chelsey); 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Rosa Tollison; brothers, Claud Walker, Paul Walker, and John Walker.

Funeral services for Mr. Jack Walker will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 in Heritage Baptist Church with Pastor Terrell Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening.
