Rachael Earl Martin Rooks, age 76, of Jackson, GA, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Reliance Healthcare in Griffin. She was born on Tuesday, September 6, 1938 in Jackson, GA to the late Asa Ellis Martin and the late Frances Virginia Swint Martin. Rachael retired as an administrative assistant and clerk for Adams-Briscoe Seed Company. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Donald Rooks, and her half-brother, Mike Martin.

Rachael is survived by her children, Sheila and Wesley Baker and Donna Rooks; granddaughter, Rachael Elizabeth Baker; sister, Pat Mullins Ozburn; half-sister, Marcia and Donnie Benton; sister-in-law, Susie Martin Hamlin; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Barbara Edwards and Carolyn Yancy.

Grave side funeral services for Rachael Rooks will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Stodghill Family Cemetery with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating.
