Mrs. Rebecca Jonell Lowery Simpson, age 65 passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at WellStar Spalding Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Simpson was born on Thursday, February 3, 1955 in Deland, Florida to the late Rudolph Lowery and Honoree Arnold Lowery. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Gene Simpson; a brother Norman Finley; and a sister, Treva Mae Rossi. Rebecca attended Lighthouse Church in Barnesville, Georgia. She loved her family, faith, and Facebook where she could keep in touch with new and old friends.

Rebecca is survived by her children, Chris Simpson, Alisha Simpson, Brandon Simpson; grandchildren, Makayla Howard, Jazmine Simpson, Gabriel Simpson, Ashley Simpson, Lydia Simpson, Jackson Simpson; sisters, Joyce Growboski, Mary Golden, Alice Partin, Patricia Combs, Betty Jo Lowery, several nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

A memorial service for immediate family and church family will be held Sunday, May 31, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Lighthouse church with Reverend Bobby Callaway officiating.
