Mrs. Regina Kaye Phillips Himes, age 67, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

Regina was born on Tuesday, January 9, 1959, in Columbia, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her father, Lyle Dennison. Regina worked as a bookkeeper with VSE of Georgia Inc. but always thought of herself as a wife and mom first and foremost. She had a love for animals and was a collector of all strays. Some of her favorite things to do were reading and spending time in nature, especially Tybee Island. She will be deeply missed.

Regina is survived by her husband of 38 years, Thomas Himes; children and spouses, Jessica Himes, Regina M. Himes, Joseph C. Himes, Christopher Telley (Heather), David Himes (Erin); grandchildren, Ada Himes, Lyra Telley, Emma Himes, Ella Himes; mother, Mary B. Dennison; sister, Sharon Bell; nieces, Briana Berry, Jordan Meyer; and many loved ones.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
