Mr. Richard Bruce Sanders, age 68, of Barnesville, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019.

Richard was born on Saturday, July 28, 1951 to the late Richard Calvin Sanders and the late Dorothy Jean Mann Sanders Printz. He retired as a Sergeant for the Spalding County Sheriff's Department where he worked as an Investigator and was of the Baptist faith.

Richard is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Damon Sanders of Germany and Michael & Jill Sanders of Dallas, TX; grandson, Ryan Sanders; brothers, Rodney Sanders & Keith Sanders; sister, Claudia Sanders; stepchildren, Tammy Chapman & Jacob Reeves; step-grandchildren, Cody Chapman, Abigail Chapman, and Lillyann Reeves.

A funeral service for Mr. Richard Sanders will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Reverend Ricky Pace officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta at 2:00 P.M. The family will receive friends at Williams-Westbury Funeral Home on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
