Rickey Alan Kendrick, Sr., age 72, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026.

Rickey was born on Friday, June 5, 1953, in Tacoma, Washington to the late Alfred S. Kendrick and the late Betty J. Cobb Kendrick. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Kendrick; brother, Tommy Kendrick. Rickey was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He proudly served his country and took care of his family. Rickey loved to travel, but while at home he really loved to work on and restore classic cars.

Rickey is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kathy Kendrick; children, Cynthia Fincher, Michael Fincher, Alan Kendrick, and Chris Kendrick; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Rhonda Standard, Regina Cooley, and Pam Head; brothers, Keith Kendrick, and Rex Kendrick; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Rickey Kendrick will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 4:00 P.M. in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor John Sweatte and Mr. Prince Huffman officiating. Interment will follow in Jackson City Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
