Ricky Thomas Sheffield, age 55, of Jackson, GA, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Sylvan Grove Hospital. He was born on January 13, 1958 in Atlanta, GA. He is preceded in death by a brother, Gary Sheffield. Mr. Sheffield formerly worked at UPS. Ricky is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Casey; father and mother, William and Shirley Sheffield; brothers and sister-in-law, Tommy and Laney Sheffield, Mike Sheffield and Donnie Sheffield; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Perry Deese; several nieces and nephews Funeral services for Mr. Ricky Sheffield will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at Stodghill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 - 8 PM Tuesday evening.
