Mr. Robert "Bob" Blair Carrick, age 58, of Jackson, GA passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Brightmoor Hospice. He was born Friday, April 22, 1960 to the late SMsgt Carl Eugene Carrick, U.S. Air Force (Retired), and Mrs. Carol K. Katherman Carrick. Bob had worked in law enforcement since 1981. He enjoyed being a K-9 Officer and a School Resourse Officer. Bob was a very loving father, son and loved ministering to the youth. He was preceded in death by his father who passed away exactly four years to the day prior to Bob.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Jaelyn Carrick; grandson, Seth Mitchell; fiance', Michelle Hurst; mother, Carol K. Carrick; brother, David E. Carrick; Michelle's sons, Cole Hurst, Samuel Hurst; nephews, Carl E. Carrick II, Joseph Wade Carrick, David Bryce Carrick; several great nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Mr. Bob Carrick will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 7, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Jackson. He will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Jackson City Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Flowers will be accepted.
