Mr. Robert L. Fogarty, age 73, of Barnesville, passed away, Sunday April 10, 2016, at his home. Mr. Fogarty was born January 2, 1943 in Pike County, son of the late Raymond and Edna Kelly Fogarty. He attended the First Baptist Church of Barnesville, and retired from the William Carter Company. Mr. Fogarty loved hunting and fishing, and was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

Survivors include his grandchildren; Lauren Taylor Fogarty, Travis Dalton Fogarty; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Worley Fogarty all of Barnesville; brother, Ray Fogarty; sister, Elsie Watson; step-brother, Glenn Legg all of Thomaston, five brothers-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Fogarty was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Carol McBroom Fogarty, and son Robert Carey Fogarty.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Wednesday at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Garth Forster officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family will be at their home and receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
