Mr. Robert “Bobby” John Kunst, Jr., age, 66 of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

Bobby was born on Thursday, December 10, 1959, in Detroit Michigan to the late Robert John Kunst, Sr. and the late Beverly Joyce Van Husen Kunst. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Penny Coulon Kunst. Robert served in the United States Army, he was a Lamar County resident most of his life. He loved spending time outdoors and was an avid hunter.

Bobby is survived by his children; Robert Maxwell, Joseph Kunst, Terri Kunst, stepsons, Trey Benard, Daniel Benard; siblings, William Kunst (Cathy), Thomas Kunst (Rosemarie), Kathy Kunst, Paul Kunst (Penny), Becky Christ (Dale) several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
