Mr. Robert Lee “Robbie” Selman, age 70, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

Robbie was born Friday, July 22, 1955, in Rome, Georgia to the late Rufus Selman and Mary Helen Selman. Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores “Snooks” Selman; and brother, Danny Selman. Robbie was employed with the Local 72 Union as a pipe steam fitter. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and watching sports. He was a fan of the Atlanta Braves, NFL, and the University of Georgia. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Robbie is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Lindsey Selman; daughter, Kelly Selman; grandchildren, Ryder Selman, Rhett Selman, Cayden Mitchell, Gabriel Blankenship, Juliette Blankenship; mother, Helen Selman; brothers, Dale Selman, David Selman; sisters and brother-in-law, Neica and Lonnie Blair, Sherry Hester; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A funeral service for Mr. Robbie Selman will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson City Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
