Mr. Robert Joe Wilson, age 66, of Flovilla, GA, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the Advanced Health and Rehab in Jeffersonville, Georgia. He was born on Monday, September 8, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Grady Bryant Wilson, Sr. and Chlora Mae Lummus Varnum. Robert enjoyed working in his yard, feeding and watching his birds, and he was interested in genealogy. He was of Baptist faith. Robert is preceded in death by father, Grady Bryant Wilson, Sr., step-father, Roy Varnum, nephew, Shane McCord.

In addition to his mother, Robert is survived by siblings, Letha and Ray Kinard, Brenda Ricketts, Grady (Buster) Wilson, Jr., Lynn and Tommy Bailey, Dawna and Bently Cannon, Wesley and Rebecca Wilson, Michael and Nancy Wilson and Wanda Watts; a nephew whom he called a son, Tommy and Irene Hobbs; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating.  Interment will follow in Flovilla South Cemetery.
