Mr. Ronald Dean Long, 71, of Barnesville passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Long was born Sunday, October 13, 1946 in Flower Hill, Oklahoma to the late David D. Long and the late Jackie Golden Long. He was in the United States Navy, having served in Vietnam. Ronald was an aircraft sheet metal mechanic with the Department of Defense.

He is survived by his children, Ronald Dean & Kimberly Gail Long, Suzanne & Clay Swancey, David Charles & Heidi Long, and Deana & David Sosebee; 18 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Connie & Ed Thomas.

A memorial service for Mr. Ronald Dean Long will take place at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, Georgia.
