Mrs. Emma Ronnell Lamb Carter, age 87, of Barnesville passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 in a Lamar County Healthcare Facility. She was born in Griffin to the late Mr. George R. Lamb and the late Mrs. Eva Bingham Lamb. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Walter Aaron Carter, and a son, Daryl Phillips. Mrs. Carter was a homemaker and was a member of the Barnesville First Assembly of God.

Survivors include her children- Diane Owens (& Reggie) of Albany, Kenneth Carter (& Melisa) of Zebulon, Janice Driskell of Barnesville, and Bruce Carter (& Anita) of Barnesville: 8 Grandchildren: Several Great Grandchildren, Nieces & Nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Emma Ronnell Carter will be conducted on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 1 O' Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Clarence Cravey and the Reverend Kenneth Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Monday, March 24, 2014 from noon until the service hour.
