James Ronald Howard, of Jackson, GA, died Wednesday August 10, 2011 at his residence. He was born September 11, 1940 in Chickamauga, GA to the late John and Diora Reynolds Howard. He was the owner of HRC in Jackson over 40 yrs. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, working, taking trips, and making others happy. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Patsy Lifsey Howard, of Jackson, GA; daughter, Lorie and Ricky Parish, of Covington; grandson, Branson (Bud) Parish, of Covington; sisters and brother-in-law, Patsy and Winford Vaughn and Barbara Huggins, all of Griffin; several nieces and nephews; and 3 God-children, Betsy, Ashley and Austin. He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jason (Bud) Huggins. Funeral services for Mr. Ronnie Howard will be held at 11 AM Saturday, August 13, 2011 at the Chapel of Sherrell Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Hoard and Sheriff Gene Pope officiating. Interment will be at Jackson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday evening.
