Roy Edward Rogers, Sr., age 62, of Barnesville passed away Sunday, January 27, 2012 in a Griffin Healthcare Facility. A native of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Mr. Wesley Rogers and the late Mrs. Betty Stewart Hohan. Mr. Rogers was an Engineer with the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson, and was a member of Rock Springs Church.

Survivors include: His Wife - Julie Rogers of Barnesville ; 1 Daughter - Rochelle Rogers ; 1 Son - Roy E. Rogers, Jr. ; 2 Step-Daughters - Shannon (& Robert) Henderson & Nina (& Jason) McCullough ; 1 Brother - Wesley Wayne Rogers ; 2 Sisters - Karen Molton & Kathy Rogers ;

6 Grandsons - Elijah Richardson, Devin Parks, Joel Cardona, Jovonnie Cardona, Lathan Rogers, & Dylan Henderson ; 4 Grand Daughters - Aaliyah Parks, Shayla Parks, Kiele McCollough, & Natearia "Princess" Henderson.

Funeral Services for Mr. Roy E. Rogers, Sr. will be conducted Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 11 O'Clock in The Chapel at Rock Springs Church. Interment will be Private.
