Mr. Royce "Ray" Swearingen, age 66, of Barnesville passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 in an Upson County Healthcare Facility. Mr. Swearingen was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Thomas Burean Swearingen, his mother, Mrs. Annie Dora Johnson Swearingen, his brother, Wesley Swearingen, and his sister, Janis Smith. He was a truck driver with Nicholson Trucking.

Mr. Swearingen is survived by: His Wife – Martha Joyce Nicholson Swearingen ; 2 Daughters– Michelle Swearingen (Dee Sinclair)of Stockbridge and Cristy Swearingen (Erin Smith) of Stockbridge; 1 Sister- Georgia Ann Kominsky (John) of Concord.

Funeral Services for Mr. Royce R. Swearingen will be conducted Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 11 O'Clock in the Chapel of the Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend David Dawson officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home in Barnesville on Monday, July 31, 2017 from 5pm until 7pm.
