Mrs. Ruby Jo McGough Buck, age 86, of Forsyth, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023.

Ruby was born on Sunday, March 14, 1937, in Amity, Arkansas to the late Ernest McGough and Bertha Killian McGough. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Melinda Walker; brothers, Charles McGough, Tommy McGough; sisters, Virgie Lyons, Floy Dean Murray. Ruby enjoyed fishing, playing cards, visiting casinos & dog tracks. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling and league play.

Ruby is survived by her husband of 67 years, Pete Buck; children and spouses, Ronda and Gary Lindke, Vickie and Mike Laird, Denise Forsyth; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service for Mrs. Ruby Buck will be held on Saturday June 3, 2023, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Mr. Mike Laird officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
