Mrs. Ruby Dell Holden, of Jackson, GA, died Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Westbury Medical Care Home. She was born April 13, 1923 in Statesboro, GA to the late Lonel H. and Lugenia McKenzie. She was of the Penecostal faith, and enjoyed singing, serving God, and spending time with her family and friends. Miss Ruby is survived by her daughter-in-law, Kathy Thompson, of Conyers; granddaughter, Rhonda Lopez, of Newborn; grandson, Brad Thompson, of Covington; great-grandson, Cody Thompson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Holden, and her son, Billy Ray Thompson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Fred McKenzie officiating. Interment will be at College Park Cemetery.
