Ruby Jo Tapp, of McDonough, GA, died Monday, October 25, 2010 at her residence. She was born on August 3, 1930 in Millerville, AL daughter of the late Mae Cummings Dillard. Mrs. Tapp was formerly of Brownlee Rd. in Jackson. She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed shopping. Mrs. Ruby Tapp is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Glenda Browning, of McDonough; sister, Erma Sims, of Columbia, GA; 4 grandchildren; 7 great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, E. C. Tapp, and daughter, Shelvis Jean Browning. Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Tapp will be held at 2:00 PM October 30, 2010 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Rev. Raymond Eller officiating. Interment will be at Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 29, 2010 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
