Mrs. Rubye Lorine Marable Johnson, age 80, of Barnesville passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at her Residence. Mrs. Johnson was born in Barnesville to the Late Mr. Robert Marable and to the late Mrs. Mary Jane Wilson Marable. She was retired from the William Carter Company and a member of the First Baptist Church of Barnesville. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her late Husband, Mr. Marcus Reginald Johnson, and her Daughter, Susan Johnson Kostreva.

Survivors include her 2 Daughters – Sylvia (& Carl) Cheek of Long Boat Key, FL ; & Sherri (& Wade) Walker of Dahlonega, GA ; a Son – Keith (& Debbie) Johnson of Barnesville, GA ; a Grandson – Marcus Dylan Johnson of Barnesville, GA ; a Grand Daughter – Mary Rachel Kostreva of Boston, Mass ; & a Brother – Willis "Rainey" Marable of Barnesville, GA

Funeral Services for Mrs. Rubye Johnson will be conducted at 11 O' Clock, Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in the First Baptist Church of Barnesville. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The Family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Monday evening, March 12, 2012 from 6 pm until 8 pm.
