Mrs. Ruth Eleanor Ellington Parker, age 81, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away Friday, November 6, 2015 at Spalding Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Parker was born on Saturday, July 28, 1934 in Thomaston, Georgia to the late Lawson Ellington and the late Maggie Ellington. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Parker; sons, Thomas Coulter, Joe Coulter; great-grandson, Chaz Coulter. She enjoyed playing Bingo and listening to music. Ruth was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Mrs. Parker is survived by her son, Ray Coulter; grandchildren, Gary and Teresa Coulter, Scotty and Kim Coulter, Joey Coulter, and Adam Coulter; great-grandchildren, Tiffany and Shelby; brother, Fred Ellington.

Memorial services for Mrs. Ruth Parker will be conducted on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sherrell Memorial Chapel. Friends may visit the family following the service. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfh.com.
