Sadie Johnnie Dupree, of Jackson, GA, died Saturday, July 7, 2012. She was born May 10, 1931 in Powder Springs, GA to the late Earnest and Gertrude Ingram. Sadie enjoyed camping, vacationing (went to 49 states), bowling, getting her hair fixed, outdoors, gardening, and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45years, Jack Dupree;, the father of her children, Floyd Mitchell; son, Joe Mitchell; 2 brothers, L. C. and Ray; and a sister, Ruth. Sadie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Lamar Merritt, of Jackson; 6 grandchildren, Buddy, Cindy, Melissa, Jolyn, Jody, Joey; 6 great-grandchildren, Brittany, Devin, Chad, Zachary, Casey, Brady; brother, Roy Ingram, of Stockbridge; and several nieces and nephews. Grave side funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Melwood Cemetery, 5170 East Ponce De Leon Ave., Stone Mountain, GA 30083, with Rudy Mangham and Rev.
