Ms. Samantha Sue "Sam" Coleman, age 45, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

Sam was born on Thursday, November 9, 1978, in Jackson, Georgia to the late Samuel Smith and Mary Ledford Starrett. Along with her father, Sam was preceded in death by her grandparents. She loved her animals and never met a stranger. Most of all Sam loved her family.

Sam is survived by her mother, Mary Starrett; fiancé, Bob Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Darcy Beckhorn; brother and sister-in-law, Carlton and Amanda Coleman; nephews, Joseph, John, and Bryan; nieces, Kayla, Felicia, Lillie, Rose, Angel, and Savannah; great-niece, Raelyn; great-nephew, Ryder; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Dwaine and Melinda Johnson, Yvonne and Leon Mangham, Susan and Don Store; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service for Ms. Sam Coleman will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Friends may visit with the family before the service from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
