Mr. Sammy Paul Jones, age 66, of Barnesville passed away December 16, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Jones was lifelong resident of Lamar County, being born to the late Mr. Sam Paul Jones and the late Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Ross Jones. Mr. Jones was a Retired Construction Worker and a member of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife - Mrs. Johnnie Rene (Jones) Jones ; a Daughter - Tammy Rene Haney (& Randy) of Barnesville ; 3 Sisters - Mrs. Christine Williams of Barnesville ; Mrs. Jewell Allmon of Thomaston ; and Mrs. Evelyn Cochran of Griffin ; a Brother - Mr. Douglas Jones of Columbus ; and 2 Grandsons - Rannon Haney and Ryant Haney.

Funeral Services for Mr. Sammy Paul Jones will be conducted Friday, December 18, 2009 at 2 O'Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Thursday, (12/17/2009) from 6PM until 8PM.
