Ms. Sandra Susan Smith, age 79, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Susan was born on Thursday, March 11, 1944, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Leon Erwin Burpee and the late Ada Sue Burpee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, and two of her grandchildren.

Sandra loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, she also enjoyed reading books, and she was Baptist by Faith.

Sandra is survived by her sons; Wesley Smith Jr. (Pam), Doug Smith (Sheila); grandchildren; James Smith (Katie), Chason Smith (Rachael), Marah S. Lavelle, Carrie Gibby, Chris Stepanski, Shane Stepanski; twelve great- grandchildren; sister, Viola Thompson (Jimmy); Several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Ms. Sandra Susan Smith will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. in Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Doctor Lee Woodall officiating. Interment will follow the service in Lamar Memory Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.
