Mrs. Sara Louise Mauldin Blair, age 90, of Jackson GA, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in the early morning of November 5, 2023.

Sara was born on Saturday, December 3, 1932, was a Graduate of Randolph Clay High School c/o 1949 in Cuthbert GA and completed a year at Andrew College. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Jackson. Sara is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Anderson Maudlin and Lily Pearl Milner of Cuthbert GA; brother; Kelly Mauldin; sister; Alice Mauldin Thompson; son; Lewis Alan (little Pete) Blair; and husband of 57 years Lewis Edward (Pete) Blair.

Sara is survived by her children; Vicki (Sammy) Brookshire of Covington, Sheri (Kim) Adams of Jackson, Chris (Vicky) Blair of Dahlonega; grandchildren; Cori (Jeremy) Hembree, Justin (Ashley) Maddox, Hunter and Rachel Blair,  Justin and Andrew Brookshire; Jeremy, Ashley and Brittany Troup; great randchildren, Alex and Parker Hembree, Emme, Audrey, Cullen and Sophia Blair Maddox, and Crash Giovanni Blair;  sisters-in-law, Doris Mauldin and Pat (Lynn) Blair; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home in Jackson on Sunday, November 12, 2023, from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M., followed immediately by a Celebration of Life service with Reverend David Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family would like to say a special "Thank You" to Brightmoor Hospice for the compassionate care they provided to Mrs. Sara.
